PAACT (Pet & Animal Advocacy Care Team) is a grassroots, entirely volunteer-run nonprofit society based in Lethbridge, Alberta, dedicated to bridging the gap between animal welfare and human well-being.

We recognize the importance of the human-animal bond and the challenges that can threaten it. Through education, advocacy, practical resources, and early intervention, we empower pet owners to overcome barriers, provide responsible and sustainable care, and keep their beloved companions whenever safe and appropriate.

 

By supporting pets and their people together, we strive to prevent unnecessary surrender and abandonment, reduce pressure on local shelters and rescues, and build a more compassionate, connected community.

 

PAACT is a registered Alberta nonprofit society currently awaiting a decision on its charitable status application.
