Tail End Journey Adoptables!
Sometimes life changes in the blink of an eye. Financial hardship, illness, housing changes, or other unexpected circumstances can leave devoted pet owners facing one of the most difficult decisions of their lives. When rehoming becomes the only option, an animal's future should not be left to chance in an already overwhelmed shelter and rescue system. Every pet deserves the opportunity to transition directly into a safe, loving home where they can thrive.
Through PAACT's Tail End Journey, we provide a compassionate, structured home-to-home rehoming process designed to help pets transition safely into carefully matched forever homes. Rather than entering a shelter or rescue, pets remain with their current families until a suitable adopter is found, reducing unnecessary stress and providing a smoother, more comfortable transition for everyone involved.
Every animal featured below is searching for a loving forever home. By adopting through Tail End Journey, you are not only changing the life of one pet—you are also helping reduce overcrowding in local shelters and rescues, promoting responsible pet ownership, and giving another family the comfort and peace of mind of knowing their beloved companion has found a safe, loving, and carefully matched forever home.
To help ensure the best possible match, all prospective adopters must complete an adoption application before a meet and greet can be arranged. Applications are carefully reviewed alongside information provided by each pet's current family, including their personality, medical history, behaviour, daily routine, and individual needs. Depending on the case, the adoption process may also include reference checks, veterinary verification, and an in-person home visit to help create safe, compatible, and lasting placements for both pets and adopters.
Take a look through our adoptable pets below—you may just meet your newest family member!

Tarzan
Male | Approximately 9 months old | Orange tabby | Neutered and up to date on vaccinations
Lethbridge, AB
Tarzan is a gentle, cuddly cat who can be a little shy at first. He takes some time to get comfortable with new people, but once he does, he is happy to play, ask for attention, and settle in for a snuggle.
Soft blankets are a particular favourite of his. He loves curling up in them, and he would be delighted to have a cozy place to call his own. Tarzan is looking for a family that will give him time to find his footing and be there to welcome him when he is ready to come close.
If you have a soft blanket and a little patience, Tarzan may have a place in your heart.

Tiger
Tiger: Male | Approximately 1 year old | Orange and white | Neutered and up to date on vaccinations
Lethbridge, AB
Tiger and Aslan share a bond you can see in the little things. They curl up together for naps, Tiger likes to keep watch over Aslan, and if Tiger wanders out of sight, Aslan goes looking for him. These two are looking for a forever home together.
Tiger, the orange and white one, is the gentle big brother. He has an old soul and a nurturing nature, and he enjoys being close to his people. He is friendly and playful, but he also loves a quiet nighttime snuggle. Tiger prefers to settle beside you rather than be picked up.
Aslan, the spotted orange one, is a curious younger cat who loves to explore and play. Toys, feathers, and strings catch his attention, and he will come over for cuddles when he is ready. He enjoys affection but would rather come to you than be held.
Tiger watches over Aslan, and Aslan makes sure Tiger is never far away. They have already found comfort in each other. Now they need a home where they can stay side by side.

Lethbridge, AB
Bolt might hang back when you first meet him. Give him a little time, though, and you will discover a cat who wants to be part of everything.
He is curious, energetic, and endlessly entertaining. Turn on a tap, set down a cup of water, or head into the bathroom, and Bolt is likely to appear to investigate. He loves batting at water with his paws, playing with bags, and showing off his impressive jumps. Whether you are busy with chores or relaxing at home, he likes to keep you company.
When the day winds down, Bolt has a softer side: he enjoys nighttime cuddles with the people he trusts. Give him the patience to settle in, and you will have a playful, affectionate companion who makes ordinary days a lot more fun.
